Rent a Tesla in NZ

New Zealand is committed to reducing carbon emissions with a goal of being carbon neutral by 2050. Here at GO Rentals, we’re on-board with the mission. As well as giving all our customers the opportunity to offset their carbon emissions when renting any car in the GO fleet, we are now adding new Tesla Model 3s and Tesla Model Ys to our fleet, which provide travellers a zero emission vehicle option. Introducing the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y to our fleet is the first step we’ve taken to show our commitment to the goal of going carbon neutral.

According to a 2019 report by Massey University, there were 18,500 electric vehicles in New Zealand and this number continues to grow every year with a goal of getting 64,000 EVs on New Zealand’s roads by the end of 2021. By adding the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y to our fleet, GO are doing their bit to encourage a transformation to electric vehicles, giving Kiwis, and eventually, visitors from overseas, The opportunity to test the experience of driving an EV and hopefully encourage more people to buy.

So, do your bit the next time you are planning a road trip here in New Zealand and rent a Tesla – not only will you be renting one of the coolest and most talked about cars out, but you’ll also be doing your bit for the environment.

GOing Electric

As a Kiwi owned and operated business, we’ve come to know the NZ driving holiday market really well.

Having spent 21 years in the industry, we know the classic Kiwi roady is engrained in our DNA and we want to do our part to protect and preserve this for the next generation of travellers.

We’re extremely excited to be taking step towards this goal, by introducing the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y to our fleet.

The addition of the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y will introduce fully electric vehicles to GO's fleet which is a major step towards building a greener, electric and carbon neutral fleet.

As a three time carbon neutral business, Tiaki has been at the forefront of the way we operate. With initiatives in place like allowing our customers to off-set their carbon, we’re thrilled to be introducing a vehicle to our fleet which takes us one step further and puts us on a path of an electric future.
